Midcentury American Copper Table Lamp with Verdigris Patina on Lucite Base
$1,250
A stately Midcentury table lamp crafted in copper with a rich verdigris patina, mounted on a clear Lucite base. This American lamp features a classically inspired silhouette with a subtly faceted urn body, tiered circular base, and elongated neck adorned with a stylized flame finial. The vertical accents and sculptural detailing recall neoclassical forms while the oxidized green surface lends the piece an aged, almost archaeological presence.
The patina is naturally mottled, revealing subtle variations in tone that enhance the lamp’s textural depth and vintage character. The crisp outline of the urn form, along with the clean transition from base to shaft, gives the piece a sense of architectural precision. A round Lucite base provides a modern contrast to the historic finish, elevating the design and allowing light to reflect subtly around the foot.
Rewired with a clear cord and ready for use, this 27.5-inch tall lamp makes a compelling addition to traditional or transitional interiors. Its commanding scale and sculptural form suit console tables, nightstands, or accent tables where a single statement piece is desired.
