Dutch Carved Wooden Barometer with Horse Motif by Gebroeders Caminada, Rotterdam
$2,995
A Dutch carved wooden barometer from the late 19th century, with horse motif, signed by Gebroeders Caminada, Rotterdam. Hand carved in the Netherlands by the Gebroeders Caminada Company established in Rotterdam in 1856, this wooden barometer attracts our attention with its carved horse head sitting above a horseshoe motif. Showcasing a thermometer with both Fahrenheit and Celsius degrees sitting above the barometer surrounded by carved oak leaves, this Dutch instrument circa 1890 will bring a touch of authenticity to any wall, perhaps hung above a commode, side table or buffet.
