A Continental bleached walnut console table from the 19th century, with white marble top, long single drawer, faceted tapering legs and X-Form cross stretcher. Created in Continental Europe during the 19th century, this console table features a bleached walnut finish complimenting its elegant lines beautifully. The table is made of a rectangular white marble veined top, sitting above a long single drawer. Showcasing a dovetail construction reveals the piece’s age, the drawer is fitted with bronze patinated hardware depicting on each side a bull biting a ring pull. The table is raised on four legs, adorned with turned and faceted tapering accents. They are resting on square block joints on turnip feet, connected to one another through an exquisite X-Form cross stretcher, marked in its center with a two-toned star-inlaid medallion. With its elegant lines and bleached walnut finish, this Continental console table from the 19th century will make for a wonderful addition to any home, placed in a living room, bedroom or foyer!
